THE DEED

The deed or the notary’s act is the final act of the whole procedures foreseen to become owners of a property.
It is a contract by which the parties formalize the contents of the preliminary purchase regarding the transfer of ownership of a property.
This contract is signed in front of a notary who, in addition to registration, also arranges to transcribe it at public estate register in order to make the purchase public and to have an effect towards third parties.
At the time of the public act of ownership transfer, it also gets transferred the property possession which must be free from things or people except for different agreements between the parties.
