The International Wine Fair is enriched with a new area dedicated to No-Lo wines, which will include masterclasses and special wine bars. The 57th edition of Vinitaly, scheduled at Veronafiere from 6 to 9 April 2025, will mark the official debut of low-alcohol wines with a section specially designed for these products. The announcement was made in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, during the masterclass "Italian Grapes Reimagined: an Alcohol-Free Tasting Experience", an event organized by Vinitaly on the occasion of the promotional stage of Amerigo Vespucci.
The inclusion of No-Lo wines is part of the desire to intercept emerging trends in the wine sector, with the aim of opening up new opportunities for companies and meeting future challenges. The NoLo project will not be limited to a single initiative, but will become a structural part of future editions as this market is growing rapidly and integrating with traditional wines. The aim is to strengthen Vinitaly’s position in a constantly changing sector.
The Vinitaly 2025 program includes two main events focused on non-alcoholic wines: "Zero alcohol and market expectations" (8 April) and "Technology 0.0: production and innovation in comparison" (9 April). Both sessions will be organized in collaboration with Unione Italiana Vini and the Uiv-Vinitaly Observatory, to analyze the future of this emerging market. In addition, the exhibition of Vinitaly will present an exclusive Enoteca dedicated to the wines dealcolati, with a dedicated counter. NoLo wines will also be featured in the cocktails of the Mixology pavilion.
